With a category 7CE PE, 7GB PE, 7ME PE and 4SQ PE grading by the Construction Industry Development Board, Sindane Mining Ventures (Pty) Ltd is, currently, limited to contracts with a value of R200 million in South Africa but we have capacity to tackle projects exceeding that R200 million through a Joint Ventures or partnership
The Company is currently undergoing certification for its Integrated Management System in terms of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Richy Sindane
Managing Director
Sizolwethu “Richy” Sindane is the founding director of SMV. On 1 March 2016 Richy was appointed Managing Director of SMV. In this position, Richy directs the strategic direction of the business supported by the Board of Directors under the chairpersonship of Mrs Rita Sindane. Richy together with his executive team consisting of Mr Nkosinathi Mpontshana (Contracts Manager) and Ms Nokuthula Sindane (SHE Manager) tactically executes the day-to-day affairs of the business and its associates.
Prior to working at SMV, Richy spent a decade working in investment management; starting as an intern at Rand Merchant Bank Asset Management to Senior Portfolio Manager at Old Mutual Multi-Managers. Richy is director of other companies: Emakhazeni Housing Management Company, Mgezantombi Investments, EHMC Security Solutions, Intokozo Estate Developers and Montgomery Atkins Capital.
Richy holds various qualifications including a Bachelor of Accounting Science, Bachelor of Social Science, Post-graduate Diploma in Finance, Banking, and Investments and SAFEX Registered Persons Exams. Currently, Richy is pursuing a master’s degree in finance and an MBA.
Nkosinathi Mpontshana
Contracts Manager
Nkosinathi “Nathi” Mpontshane is the Contracts Manager of SMV. The Candidate Construction Manager with a record of success overseeing all phases of multimillion-rand Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Plant Hire and Waste Management Projects in both government and private-sector clients backed by strong obligation of completing projects on-time, on-budget and high-quality.
Prior to working for SMV, Nathi received the relevant experience in working for a Project Management and Quantity Surveying Consulting firm and worked for different Contractors.
Nathi Holds a National Diploma in Building “Construction Management and Quantity Surveying” obtained from Mangosuthu University of Technology. Nathi is pursuing a Professional registration as the Professional Registered Construction Manager with SACPCMP.
