Our WWTW operations is headed by Mr Solly Mayisela, a qualified electromechanical artisan. We upgrade, build, and refurbish water and waste treatment works. Our speciality is water purification and reticulation including sewerage plants.

Mechanical

Our Civil engineering expertise encompasses Geotechnical engineering, Structural engineering, and Bulk Earthwork. The three areas in this division are headed by Mr Nkosinathi Mpontshana.

Geotechnical Engineering

Geotechnical investigations look at any potential risks to human beings, property, and the environment in terms of natural occurrences like earthquakes, landslides, sinkholes or rockfalls. Our services are highly sought after in the mining environment.

Structural Engineering

Sindane Mining Ventures (Pty) Ltd has in-house expertise led by Mr Lethukukhanya Mabunda who is a qualified Metallurgical and Materials Engineer to offer advice to clients and execute complex projects for both industrial and mining clients.

We are offering services in the following areas:

• Supply and installation of structural steelwork for mining and industrial plants
• Milling plants, material handling, silos, and storage
• Industrial structures
• Bridges and interchanges
• Dams, canals, and tunnels
• Precast concrete structures

Bulk Earthwork

Through our company-owned earthmoving equipment we do land preparation and Installation of pipeline for clients before they erect top structures. We can work on sloppy surfaces or with large boulders abound and unstable grounds.

This is a new area of business for the company. As a construction company it was natural that we are diversifying into properties.

We are focusing in two areas: building and housing.

Fields of road construction and rehabilitation. We have participated in large scale project for clients such municipalities and TRAC N4 Concessionaire. This division is headed by Mr Phinda Maluleke, a qualified civil engineer with an ECSA registration. Phinda is supported by our inhouse surveyor Ms Nomfundo Nkalanga.

We do:

• Asphalt surfacing – including highway roads classification
• Large, paved surfaces – bus routes etc
• Concrete road – driveways, narrow road, walkways
• Gravel access roads

Plant hire services is another area of business that was a natural progression for the company. We are gradually building our plant asset base to meet the growing needs of the company and to offer this service to our clients. Mr Sipho Mzimba leads this division.
